Michael Finley, CIC
Mike Finley was born and raised in New York. He graduated from the University of Vermont and worked in the hospitality industry before moving to Ohio in 1991. He purchased the Hall-Green Agency in 1999 from his uncle, David Green.
Mike is happily married to Patty and has three adult daughters. He serves on the boards of The Children’s Advocacy Center; Main Street Kent; Portage County Insurance Association; and St. Patrick Finance and Endowment Committees. He is past president and state senator for the Kent Jaycees. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, music and spending time with his dogs, Stanley & Jaxon.
Susan Tripepi graduated in 1998 from the University of Akron with an Accounting degree. She served on the National Board of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance for many years and the Akron Chapter of the Society of Human Resources. She currently serves on the board for LifeHouse Ministries, a teen pregnancy home, she founded in 2015. Prior to joining Hall-Green in April 2016, she ran a successful consulting business.
She is the proud mother of one adult daughter. In her spare time, she is active in her local church and the Kent Area and Greater Akron Chambers of Commerce, volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association Akron Walk and other various charities, and enjoys motorcycle riding, running 5ks and beach vacations.
Customer Service Representative/Agent
Ruthann Freeman is a proud graduate of Kent State University School and Kent State University. She is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, PEO, board secretary for Hiram Farm & Learning Center, Elder at First Christian Church Kent, former Girl Scout leader and troop organizer for City of Kent, former member of Kevin Coleman Foundation Board, and past president of the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce. She began working at Hall-Green Agency part time in 1987 and full time in 1999 as a customer service representative and agent. She is married with two daughters and one granddaughter.
Mark Yankovich, CPIA
Mark Yankovich is an alumnus of Kent State University. He was president of MCW Food Services until the family-owned business was sold in 1998. Mark entered the insurance business in 1999; achieved his CPIA designation in 2006.
Married to Sally for 45 years. Over 30 years with the Rotary Club of Kent being awarded a Paul Harris Fellow designation and serving as a past board member. He also previously served as a trustee of the Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation and The Kevin Coleman Foundation. Continues with various Portage APL fund raising endeavors, Kent Roosevelt Hall of Fame Selection Committee, a 15 gallon donor for the American Red Cross and everything involved with the game of golf.
Andrew Obraza obtained his insurance license in 2002 where he focused on life insurance for 5 years. Joining Hall-Green Agency in 2006 he now concentrates on all aspects of insurance.
Andrew is married and has three young sons. He is a member of the Kent Jaycees; portrays Uncle Sam in the Stow July 4th parade and coaches with Kent Soccer Club.
Customer Service Representative/Agent
Laura VonStein grew up in Chagrin Falls; graduated from Kent State University and has worked in the insurance industry since 2000. She joined the staff of Hall-Green Agency in 2012.
Laura is married and volunteers for the Portage APL. She has also volunteered for the Make-A Wish Foundation and Townhall II.
